My Lips are Sealed
Okay, that's not really true. My lips are hardly sealed. But I learned the benefits of priming them. It's not entirely necessary to use a separate lip primer....you're concealer will do the same job. While putting on your foundation and concealer base, take a second to apply a light layer of concealer over your lips as well. This will help to prime them prior to applying lip liner and lip stick . Trust me when I say it will extend the life of your lipstick application by hours!
Wet Your Sponges!
If I could only give you one piece of makeup advice, it would be as simple as "wet your sponges." Try dampening your makeup sponge before applying cream or liquid foundation and notice the ease at which it goes on. You'll want it to be damp, but not dripping wet in order for it to work best. You'll notice a smoother, more even application similar to an airbrushed look. It's the easiest thing you can do to ensure a flawless face!
Highlights, Not Just for Hair
Cream highlighters are our latest obsession here. And with summer on the horizon, it's the perfect opportunity to include it in your daily makeup routine. MAC cream base in Shell is our personal fave, but you can even use a less expensive shimmery lipstick to achieve the same look. Simply dab some on the top of your cheekbones, directly under the eyebrows and along the bridge of the nose. Voila, a perfect summer glow!
